800g whiting fillets
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 egg, beaten with a fork
About 1 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

½ lemon juiced
Sriracha (chilli sauce)
Tomato sauce


1. Pat dry fish fillet thoroughly  
2. Set up a work station with shallow dish of flour seasoned with salt and pepper
3. Another shallow dish with the beaten egg
4. A third shallow dish with the breadcrumbs
5. Heat a large skillet to medium –high
6. Add enough vegetable oil to shallow fry
7. Coat fish fillets with flour, dip into egg and coat thoroughly with breadcrumbs 
8. Fry for about 3 minutes on each side or until golden


1. Combine all ingredients together to taste
