170g butter
3 tablespoons minced garlic
1 kg large sea scallops
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice


1. Melt butter in a large frypan over medium-high heat
2. Stir in garlic, cook a few seconds until fragrant
3. Add scallops, cook several minutes on one side
4. Turn and continue cooking until firm and opaque
5. Transfer scallops to a serving plate
6. Whisk salt, pepper, and lemon juice into butter
7. Pour the sauce over scallops to serve
