1/3 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
3 tablespoons finely grated ginger
1 garlic clove crushed
750g skinless salmon steaks cut into 3cm cubes
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 red onion halved lengthways and thinly sliced
1 bunch broccolini cut into 3cm lengths
2 zucchini sliced
2 teaspoons sesame oil
2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds


1. Combine soy, honey, vinegar, ginger and garlic in a bowl
2. Add Salmon and toss until combined
3. Cover and stand for 15 minutes if time permits
4. Thread Salmon onto skewers place onto a plate
5. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a fry pan over medium heat
6. When hot add skewers cook 2 minutes each side or until cooked preference
7. Transfer to a plate cover and keep warm
8. Add marinade to pan and bring to the boil. Simmer 2 minutes
9. Heat remaining oil in a fry pan or wok over medium heat cook onions 2 minutes or until soft
10. Add broccolini stalks and cook 1 minute or until softened
11. Add remaining broccolini and zucchini with 2 tablespoons water
12. Cover and cook 2 minutes or until just tender
13. Stir in sesame oil
14. Spoon vegetables onto serving plates top with skewers spoon over sauce
15. Sprinkle with sesame seeds to serve
