1kg prawns, skin off and tail on
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon ginger, minced
4 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce


1. Combine the sauce ingredients and divide it into half
2. Marinate prawns with one half of the sauce for 15-30 minutes
3. Discard marinade
4. Heat skillet pan to medium high heat pan
5. Sear prawns in some oil both sides in batches of 2 until browned
6. Using tongs, rub the prawns into the caramelized bits on the bottom of the pan
7. Serve hot drizzled with the remaining sauce
