Ingredients

1 1/2 cups cooking oil
90g butter
12 cloves garlic, peeled
3 small red chilies, seeded and finely chopped
30 large green prawns shelled, deveined, tails intact
Crusty French bread, to serve

Instructions 

1. Pour oil into a large frying pan. Add butter to pan
2. Crush garlic cloves into the pan. Add chilli to pan and stir
3. Heat frying pan and contents until butter is very hot and bubbling
4. Add the prawns and cook for 3--4 minutes until prawns are pink and cooked
5. Serve immediately with slices of fresh French bread.
