Ingredients

250g sliced bacon, cut in half
4 teaspoons white sugar
1/4 cup dark soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, chopped
Shucked Oysters

Instructions 

1. Place bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat
2. Cook until shrunken, but not crisp. Remove and drain
3. Preheat the oven to 150 degrees C
4. In a shallow baking dish, whisk together sugar, soy sauce and garlic with a fork
5. Wrap each oyster with a piece of bacon secure with toothpicks
6. Place wrapped oysters into the dish with the sauce
7. Bake for 10 minutes in preheated oven
8. Bake until sauce has thickened and bacon is nicely crisped at the edges
