375g Ocean Trout cut into 2-3 strips
Black Pepper
Pinch of cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon warm water
1 1/2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 lemon, sliced into wedges


1. Season surface of Trout with salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, set aside
2. Mix honey, water, vinegar or lemon juice, pinch of salt stir to combine well
3. Heat a skillet with olive oil, pan-fry Trout until half done
4. Add garlic to pan until slightly browned add honey mixture and lemon wedges  
5. Reduce sauce until it’s sticky
6. Finish it off by grilling Trout for 1 minute or until surface becomes slightly charred optional step
