Ingredients

12 Garfish scaled and butterflied
2 tablespoons lemon juice
3/4 cup plain flour
Salt flakes and freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon sweet paprika
2 eggs lightly beaten with 2 tablespoons water
1 cup fresh bread crumbs
Olive oil for shallow frying
1 lemon quartered
Green salad to serve

Instructions 

1. Sprinkle fish with lemon juice
2. Place flour, paprika, salt and pepper in a large bag, add fish shake well to coat
3. Place fish in a colander and shake well to remove excess flour
4. Dip into egg mixture and roll in bread crumbs
5. Heat oil in fry pan fry fish 1-2 minutes each side until crisp and golden
6. Serve with a green salad
